Christmas 2009

Christmas with George, Hans-Erik, Krista, us and Mom and Dad.

Christmas Eve with Mom and Dad, Grandma (recently released from the rehab center), Grandpa, Aunt Pam, Uncle John, Grandma Suzuki and JoyLynn.

Dad reading the Christmas story and the reminder that we wouldn't be saved on Easter without Jesus' birth at Christmas.

Christmas Eve at our house. Turned out to be a pretty sleepless night :(

Christmas morning at home. All 4 of us are pretty exhausted from hardly any sleep. The boys were just too excited at 1 am to sleep because they noticed that Santa had already come.

Later Christmas Day, traveling to Chicago to visit the Burns siblings. We were lucky to have the gift of First Class as you can see . . . If only all flights could be so nice.

Christmas with the Burns' in Downers Grove, IL.

Aunt JoAnne, Uncle Fran and Aunt Tammy.

There was snow! Uncle Dan is a great snow shoveling teacher.

Fun in the snow. It was beautiful, from the inside looking out at least.

Sledding in Downers Grove. Thanks to Aunt Mary for lending us the sledding discs!

I think tomorrow we'll try to go to the Field Museum. It' been wonderful to be with family from both sides.
