What should have been a really cool experience turned out to be kind of harder than expected, simply because we were unable to sleep on the train from Paris to Barcelona. We left at 8:30 pm , had a snack and went to bed in the tiniest compartment of 4 bunk beds. We were awake just 2 hours later. All 4 of us . We couldn't sleep due to noise and jet lag. We somehow got thru the night and arrived in Barcelona very travel weary. The boys still say they hated that train ride. Hopefully , someday they'll think it was kind of cool.
